Iraq reported generating over $9 billion from oil sales for the month of October, continuing the country’s streak of increasing oil revenues for the fourth consecutive month. In its preliminary monthly report, the Iraqi oil ministry announced that more than 109 million barrels of crude oil were exported during the previous month, at an average rate of 3.5 million barrels per day and an average price of $88.2 per barrel. A Turkish drone on Tuesday killed an off-duty Peshmerga fighter in Duhok province and injured a shepherd. The bombardment took place near a populated area.   Ali Jamil, 44, walked to an area only 250 meters away from his house in Duhok province’s Bamarne subdistrict early Tuesday, but a Turkish drone targeted him at around 7:00 am, injuring him and a nearby shepherd. The Kurdistan Region’s agriculture ministry has distributed 45 solar power stations to farmers in the Region, with the financial gain and low cost of the systems having led dozens of farmers to install them at their own expense.  The cost-effective solar power projects are fixing the issues of lack of electricity in the Gwer and Makhmour districts in Erbil province. Turkish defence ministry on Saturday announced that it had targeted over 30 alleged Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK) positions inside the Kurdistan Region in recent days, causing many casualties. The ministry said in a statement that “a total of 31 targets, including caves, bunkers, shelters and warehouses,” of the PKK on Mount Gara were “destroyed” when its air forces hit the Kurdish armed group on Wednesday and Friday. “Many terrorists were neutralised,” claimed the ministry.Turkey uses the term neutralised to denote adversaries captured, wounded, or killed.Mount Gara is located in Duhok province where Turkey’s code-named Operation Claw-Lock continues.
